I bought George Nakashima's book, "Full Circle" about 6 months ago. I perused the entire book When I received it.
An interesting (to me anyway) side light to this post is that I saw either the Windsor settee on page 157, or one like it. The piece was in a museum in San Diego California. I actually was able to sit on it, since the piece was out where people could sit and touch it.
I've been looking for a new project and have some mesquite boards that have live edges and have not figured out how I wanted to use them. They are 10 to 11 inches wide and a full 6 feet long. I am inspired by some of Nakashima's pieces (shown in the book). He has some live edge pieces that really appeal to me. My boards are not large enough to make a settee, but a table is certainly possible. The image shown is one of his pieces.

This photo is not the one I sat on.
What say yee about my thoughts?
