Really fine woodworking. I may have to borrow that design for a future project. Great work.

Some people regard beech as good only for structural members in furniture but I really like the look of beech. You've done a remarkable job of featuring it in this handsome, stately cabinet. Congratulations, Denis, on a wonderful piece that will grace its surroundings for years.

Very good work Denis. Beech is not easy to find in this part of the world. I really like your sketch, is that your orginal elevation before construction? We have the old pencil and paper technique in common, yours is much better.

Very nicely done. A great traditional look with the rosettes and the fluting. I sometimes keep original sketches for designs that get completed. It is fun to see my generally very poor concept drawings when compared to the finished project.

I saw it in your shop tour, and was going to comment on it. It looks great finished. I like the beech. I only used it once, and it sure burned easily.

Yes it was it was the first sketch on paper, then made a drawing with the main dimensions.
