Switching from Leetro to Ruida control card

I found a pdf from Boss Laser that details the wiring- so I don't anticipate any problems there. From the pdf it sounds like it will need a 320 config file to get me started? Or can I send a config file from RDworks, or is there a rudimentary file in the card that someone would be so kind as to send to me that I can modify for my machine? After struggling with Lasercut for a month and taking a look at RDworks... there is no comparison. I have worked with vector programs for 20 years and RD is pretty easy to understand and has many more settings (which could be a good thing?) The card from AliExpress arrives next week so I am trying to get my gooses in row. Thanks Gene

I Can't really comment on the Leetro except to say that it looks a little prehistoric with its small mono screen. The Ruida on the other hand, I can speak very highly of specifically the RDC6442g. So far it has either met or exceeded my expectations. I am a Mach3 man but had no problem wiring up this controller.
I paid USD300 + 40 DHL to Australia from the contact below.

DHL is delivering on Tuesday- paid about what you quoted. Did you have to load a config file of some kind? I have RDworks and have looked at it a lot. Thanks Gene

    Hi Gene
The controller is set already with parameters that you will need to adjust. In rdcam, under the File drop down menu, click on vendor settings. Your pasword will be, rd8888
You will need to click Read which will read your controller. Change your step dir, step per, etc. You dont need to change much else in that tab. Do this for x y z. When you are done, click Write which will write these new settings to your controller. In other words, all the controller setting is done through the software. The software manual is available from Ruida or thunder laser. It's Chinglish so you will have to read it a few times to interpret the important parts. There are a few youtube vids on language change which you will need to do. In short though, press ZU, use arrows to select the top right option and then enter. Then use arrows to select third option down on the left and enter. You will now have english.

    Hope I've helped some.

Thank you Phill- I got the control and now realize the Boss Laser pdf I have is for an older RD card. I am sorting thru the pdf and the manual for the 320-a that I have and comparing to the Leetro that I am replacing. I may well have a few questions... altho having an imported chinese laser has expanded my chinglish and improv skills.
