My boat is included because we call it a "couch boat" - so comfortable, and its been called furniture on water. Some of my later work is in the glass I invented, and although not wood, its still furniture. Rest of pics in following post. The oriental / Art deco hall bench made it into FWW Design Book Six.

The boat has been in some antique boat magazines and has won several awards in boat shows. The woodworking might be of interest to some, as I custom ground a saw blade to kerf bend solid mahogany into a 2" radius without gaps. I veneered the inside of the rear doors with African Satinwood so the shade will keep its canary yellow color. The coved coping around the seat is a unique story. And there are three glass bottom windows in the hull for viewing fish and shipwrecks. Not glass, but MR-10 scratch resistant polycarbonate.

Thank you all for your kind words. I never get feedback from most of what I do cuz it gets shipped as soon as its built, and there are very few art shows / competitions that are worth the hassle and cost, so your appreciation is the real kick I needed lately.

These pics above are for you, Dan Hintz. Largest dichroic glass chandeliers in the world (each one is over 16 feet tall + pendant stem, and weigh over 600 lbs each). The design is a real cool story. I learned 2D CAD software in one weekend to laser cut the 5/16" SST central armature. I custom made the LED light bars after finding no equivalent (although I recently found Elemental Led). I used warm white LED with diode spacing of 7mm, and used Crystal Ice acrylic cylinders as the diffusing lens by splitting them on the T-saw, and then hand ground a carbide bit to cut grooves inside to slide the 18 gauge steel backing plates that hold the LED. The spacing of the diodes is so tight, you cant see the individual hotspots, and they look like fluorescent tubes

Western Michigan University "Lightcicles". Did these in 2012.

BTW, I laminated all the Dichrolam™ glass (my main business), welded all the SST, and installed them with one worker. The lifting carriage is a piece of art itself.
