I have no trouble being the site on two devices simultaneously.

Making sawdust regularly, occasionally a project is completed.
I have logged in on two different devices several times and even opened two or more SMC windows on a single device with no problems.
What does the redirect do?
Are you telling the site to remember you on the PC?
What operating system and browser are you using on your PC?
Is your browser set to accept cookies?
