Blanket chest for spare bedroom

My wife has been wanting a bench for the spare bedroom for some time. Finally we sat down and sketched it out and this is what we came up with. I have about 1.5 weeks in the construction of the project. thanks for looking.
The chest was finished in a espresso poly shade finish.
