    tow truck

    Made from plans I purchased from Toys & Joys. The truck is made with poplar, I used diluted craft paint for the stain and the final finish is lacquer.007.jpg008.jpg

    That's just as neat as can be Dave. The wheels really caught my attention. Their grain is gorgeous and the detail of having those spokes is delightful.

    Are the spokes actually inserted into holes in the rim/tire? Or are they glued to the back of the rim/tire? If they are inserted into the rim, how did you drill the holes on the inside of that small tight circle?

    The wheel were bought from Toys & Joys as were the headlights and steering wheel.
