my new laser tube has arrived and i am confused.

123.JPGok you all heard my drama of my 80 watt Trotec pumping 45 watts. I call Trotec and they offer to replace it if I pay for the service call. My new tube just arrived and I get a little concerned as the box says 60 watt tube. What!! I open the box and the tube has this sticker on it. What exactly does this mean????

I'm no scientician, but it looks like erroneously you have a 180W tube...

I'm not sure why you are confused... The original 80 watt turned out to be 45 and the replacement 80 watt that may be - 80 watts, 60 watts, or 180 watts. Perfectly clear to me.

It would make sense if the space between the "1" and the "8" was a little bigger.

ok I spoke to Iridion the tube manufacturer and they say the tube (that is marked 180W) is "Maximum 110 watts"
When I asked about my old tube (the 80 that is only giving 45) they said it was "Minimum 60 Actual 90"
Now can you see why it is confusing??? LOL Geesh!
