Hey folks. I've just acquired an XL-12000.
Are these models becoming obsolete or do they still hold good value?
Thanks

Universal shows them on a site but I've never seen one at a show. Normally it's an ILS if it's a bigger laser at the shows.
1. Does the xl-12000 run the latest software? If it works and can run the latest uls job control type software then it would seem to have more value than a machine relegated to outdated software.
2. How many watts?
3. What's the difference between it and an ILS?
Trotec Speedy 400 120w, Trotec Speedy 300 80w
Thunderlaser Mars-130 with EFR 130w tube
Signature Rotary Engravers (2)
Epson F6070 Large Format Printer, Geo Knight Air Heat Presses (2)
If I read the specs right-- 68" x 48" bed, with 300 watts via twin 150w lasers... purty beefy. I also read "2006" in the literature I found, so we're at 10 years old give or take...
If these specs are right, the money you'll get offered for it will likely be inversely proportional to the prospective buyer's fear of paying to have TWO rather expensive 150w lasers replaced, and that right soon...
