    Outdoor Rocking Bench

I got this rocking chair on Craigslist for $30. I sent the cast iron ends out to be powder-coated
I made the slats longer & wider using mahogany, it is now a rocking bench. This was a fun straight
forward project and I am pleased with the outcome.

    Nice, rewarding project.

If you are taking pictures with an iPhone hold it horizontally in landscape mode. That may help.

Nice! Would you mind saying how much the powder-coating cost?

Thanks for the kind words. Thanks for rotating my photo.
The powder-coating was $150 and $40 for stainless carrage bolts & hardware.

    Great job, Kevin.

I once had a rocker like that. Just a suggestion. I found it comfortable to install a "stop" on the front side of the rocking motion. My rocker could rock too far. Back was not a problem, but front was.

Paul, I would like to take credit for designing this rocker. Like I noted it was a craigslist find.
it appears to be a very aggressive rocker but it is actually very gentle, while when you lean forward
to stand up it almost helps you'stand up. There are no casting marks. A date & maker would have
    been nice. Kevin
