    Yes, there was one blade-contact incident lol. I closed the blast gate for the 6" cabinet port and didn't have the overhead tightened enough - the suction pivoted the guard straight down onto the blade!

    The guard can be moved left to right to allow for cross-cuts and narrow rip cuts.

    If i was doing it over I would make the side pieces higher so that i could cut greater than 1.75" thick stock and still have the front rubber in contact with the table. Not a big issue for me though.
