    Medicine cabinet

Lumber was bought s2s for other projects. I then used leftovers to make this cabinet. All hand tool work. Mortise and tenon rabbets resawing for the back. I did use plywood to back the mirror. Stained to match a vanity I made 4 or 5 years ago. Just have to install.

I like it , and I think there is plenty of room in market for some nice medicine cabinets. Most of the manufactured stuff is flimsy and ugly.

Thank you for the compliment Mel. I try to build only needed things nowadays. I agree there is a lot of flimsy items out there and expensive too.

Thanks Cody. I just used plastic. I learned my lesson years ago about wooden ones in damp areas. If you want to move a shelf wood ones have to have a loose fit or you need to drill them out after a few years.

Thank you Yonak. Just some shells kind of Art Deco. Made some thinner and more rounded ones but they did not look good in the mirror reflection so went with a stylised look.
