Not sure if this is the right room to ask, but Friday evening I sawed up a big cherry tree that had a lot of wind shake in it. A few of the boards are okay, but most had already split pretty badly by yesterday afternoon when I went back to stack the lumber. There are a few bits and pieces here and there that don't appear to have any splits or cracks, but very few. I would be terrified to chuck any of it up on the lathe, so that's out, too. Is there any use for this wood beyond the fire pit or smoker?
