    Beall Buff and CDs/DVDs

Anyone ever tried buffing the scratches out of an optical disc with the Beall Buff? I tried it on a hunch last fall and was amazed at how quickly it buffed out scratches, even gouges. Most can be polished out with the WD wheel, but the deeper ones require some tripoli buffing first. My kids are hard on discs, but I've managed to bring them all back into shape. Yesterday I buffed a respectable stack of Wii and Xbox games from church that were headed to the trash, and they are all playable now. Been thinking about posting an ad on one of the local Facebook yard sale pages to see if I can make a few quick $$ for some tools I need to finish a project.

    Anyone else do this?

  2. That is a pretty cool idea, Wes!

I've successfully used automotive paint/scratch (Nu Finish Scratch Dr.) remover with a soft cloth but power buffing sounds better.
