Nicely done. And,with the hinge,it looks like you could do 3 dimensional carving as well.
If you don't mind a bit of advice,if possible,I'd recommend hanging your flexible shaft motor down from the ceiling right over the stylus's position. It really pays so keep those flexible shaft cords as straight as possible. My wife uses a Foredom a lot in her jewelry work,and several times she has had to replace the cable inside the flexible shaft from bending it (necessarily),in use.

Yeah, it was a last minute placement of the Dremel when I got the cameras out. I need to hang it higher - thanks for the advice!

Since building this I have discovered that the runout of the chuck on the flex shaft is too great to do clean work, so I have modified it to take the Dremel directly. Also, I added a micro adjustment at the stylus. 1/4 turn of the adjustment equates to 0.004" depth of cut change at the bit (on the 4:1 reduction, that is).
