This is so obviously a job for a laser. CNC mills leave a rough, splintered edge that needs sanding - even the sharpest will leave fur. My laser cuts 1/4" birch at 22 mm per second in 1/4" baltic birch, and it works out to a little over one minute per turtle shape (@ 10" x 12") to cut, and the laser will leave a slightly brown edge, no need for sanding. An average laser owner would charge about a buck per turtle, I would imagine, but I dont do jobs like this - only acrylic, and I would charge about 3 bucks per shape of this size in acrylic.

Go to the engravers forum here and post your request, and someone there should reply and cut these for you and ship them to you. Or you can buy a laser for about 4 to six grand to do this size, and then you will have a laser to do all kinds of fun stuff.
