My dad got me started in woodworking when I was a young teenager. Now I have the whole shop to prove it! Only stationary power tool he had though was a DeWalt 8" RAS.

Edit: Had a super great day. Went to church then both of my boys and my three grandchildren, and one of my boys fiancees and her two children, (4 of 5 in their teens) came over to go tubing on a weather perfect day. They spent 7 hours here, went through plenty of boat gas and cooked brats, finishing off with fresh strawberry shortcake. Doesn't get any better!

That's a great comic. My wife pointed it out to me this am.

    Happy Father's Day to all.

My Father's Day was brightened by a call from my son who is currently in Texas for training.

    We have 3 children, 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

We are visiting in Visalia, CA. I spent the afternoon attending the movie "Finding Dory -3D" and having a late lunch with the wife, DIL, twin 6 year old granddaughters and 3 year old grandson.

I was proud of myself. I only nodded off 3 times during the movie.

It was a great way to spend Father's Day!

Thanks Joe, I spent part of the day moving furniture for an elderly neighbour and enjoying the company of my youngest daughter who came to visit............Rod.
