Does anyone know of good sites to build marble runs?

I am looking at building a marble run this fall or next fall and am starting to look for "how to build" sites. With some different examples of marble runs.

Some of the parts of a marble run would be standard flatwork, but there are some opportunities for turned funnels where marbles are collected and dropped, also for parts of the marble life.

Does anyone have any good references for building marble runs?

Edited: Marble run may go by several names, something like this is what I am looking for https://woodgears.ca/marbles/build.html

    Thanks
    Michael

I can't answer your question, but how about turning some marbles from wood?

I made these with a piece of galvanized pipe sharpened on one end just to see if I could. Pretty quick to make. Those made from dense woods should work OK but I'll have to try them in my marble contraption.

    John,

Thank you, that is a great idea, I had not thought of that.

Michael you may want to check out Larry Marley's newest creation. His website shows a quick video of him making and demonstrating it. Really cool.
Just type in Larry Marley woodturner to find his site.

Larry was often featured in Woodturning Design magazine. He submitted several of his projects with detailed instructions that were just great.
I made several of his christmas ornaments that were very popular with friends and family.
Sadly Woodturning Design magazine is no more.
