    $10,000 Payout on Unwanted Windows 10 Upgrade

    Microsoft last month paid a California travel agent $10,000 after she won a judgment in small claims court by successfully arguing that an unauthorized upgrade to Windows 10 crippled her work PC.

    A few folks here were complaining about similar problems from the Windows 10 forced update.

    happened to my mom's work computer last week. she spent hours undoing it.

    talk about an unhappy camper! it was the end of the month, which is her busiest time.
