    Alan Batty's passing

    It was reported over on WOW that Alan Batty has passed quietly in his sleep last night. Our sincere condolences go out to Stuart, and the rest of his family. Prayers and thoughts with them this day....

    Alan was one of the first people on WOW to befriend me and was a wonderful person. He is surely missed. Condolences to his family.

    Sad day. I only knew him via YouTube but he quickly became my favorite online mentor. I sure his family will miss him terribly.

    Stuart posted that the last time they taught together was in Oregon a few years ago
