    Help with a map

I have a friend that wants me to make a wall map in mahogany of their home country for his wife as a Christmas gift. I am having a hard time finding a good vector or even a decent enough pic to engrave. The country is Laos. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hand tracing would be my first choice to make a Vector of it.

The CIA has one > https://www.cia.gov/library/publicat...k/geos/la.html

Not sure if it will do you any good or not.

Laos.jpgWill these work? This is just a screenshot of my Corel screen. It's NOT vectored, it's essentially 2 photos saved as a Corel 10 file that should be able to be sent to your laser directly, OR converted with your Photograv and lasered (not sure how that works!)

The photos are almost 24" tall in Corel, so the file is like 55 megabytes, which means I can't put the file on the board here, but you can download it from my server:

    http://www.engraver1.com/pictures/Laosposneg.cdr

I made a positive and a negative version, never know what wood will do! Because they're photos the contrast and brightness and all can be adjusted..

Hope this helps! If it won't download for any reason PM me and I can email it to you--
