Hi Everyone:
If you have a moment, please offer some advice on a coffee table that I'm sketching up. This is a 27 L x 56 W x 18 H coffee table. The goal is a clean, informal table that we don't mind using or putting our feet up on. It will be some locally sourced hardwood, though not oak or maple. Perhaps walnut.
I very loosely started with this wonderful Krenov table, but changing the height as I want a lower table. (I'm not trying to make a Krenov table for this project.)
If you have suggestions on lightening up my designs or making them less blocky, let me know. Functionally, I like the shelf (so we can quickly clear junk off the table), but it makes the coffee table look a bit like my workbench!
