The only markings are "MAX EZ" on the "handle" and "PC" on the motor. I'm guessing it's some kind of picture framing tool for joinery but no string of search terms seems to come up with anything. Is it a Porter Cable?

Do you have a link that I could read up a bit more on it? I can't seem to find anything about it, as all I find are routers.
Look up the Porter Cable 310. That looks like a 310 motor in there, but it isn't obvious to me what the rest of the contraption is.

Thanks Charles. That's the tip I needed. Turns out it's a thumbnailer, which routes a groove for a plastic insert and joins the miter.
