Got the DVR upgrade for my Nova 1624 - two thumbs UP!

I've had my lathe for about 18 months. It's been a steady performer and a great machine to learn on, but changing belts was getting to be a pain. I finally ordered the DVR upgrade motor about a month ago, and was told there would be a short wait. Installed it last weekend, and really enjoyed running it this weekend.

I highly recommend the swap. It took about 90 min total. $600 well spent.

I agree with you. I just got mine last Friday. I really like it. A couple times I've changed the speed the English writing has turned to Chinese I guess, but you can turn it one way or the other and it goes back to English. Other than that, it's doing great.
