    "Hats Off"

These are a few of the hats I recently turned. They are fun.

    C and C welcome

Impressive. Well beyond my abilities. Like the top hat with blank band and the rest as well. What woods did you use?
When working I had more money than time. In retirement I have more time than money. Love the time, miss the money.

  3. Nice work, Ronald! I am particularly fond of the cowboy hat form with the upturned brim.....cool stuff!

Ron, Those are so cool. I have to give that a try even though it's probably above my skill set. I like them all but love the shape of the one on the right.

Great hats. The wood looks like soft maple? Nice figure.

Bob the one top hat is cherry but yes the rest are soft maple. Too hard to work with. Would prefer a hard maple, less tear out and less sanding

You have reinvented the hard hat. Two seem to be celibrity models. The top one the Jiminy Cricket and the one under it,the
Billy the Kid. All well done.
