Setting up New Basement Shop - Need Layout Ideas

LED fixtures have come down in price a lot, even more since I bought mine at Costco about six months ago to replace the older tubes. My shop has never been brighter...

Made a little progress last night. Got the last of the airline run. It tees off the large compressor in the garage, and runs through the crawl space into the basement. Should be nice, as I won't have to worry about the space for the compressor, or having to put up with the noise. I bought a 50 foot goodyear 3/8 hose which should easily reach everywhere in the shop.

Also ordered a table saw. After some consideration, I decided to just bite the bullet and buy a 3hp Saw Stop cabinet saw. I have little kids and my career requires the use of all my fingers. It gets delivered on Saturday.

I can't remember if I mentioned it above, but I bought the Jet air cleaner as well to complement the dust collection system.

Should have plenty to do this weekend.

Some pictures from today's progress. Dust collector in place, with the duct run from the garage into the basement.

Sawstop arrived and setup in the basement. Haven't checked any of the alignment, other than the extension wings and tables.

Tomorrow's plan is to start running duct.
