    "Sail Away"

Here is a little piece I made right before going to SWAT. It is approximately 7" tall. The sail is maple and is half of a turned small platter and the carved base is sycamore. Finished with a littel stain for the base and some rattle can lacquer. I gave this to Jim Adkin's daughter after the symposium as a birthday present.

No, it's not thin enough yet.

You've developed your signature with the shapes of your piercings. Another great one.

Very nice Scott. You have a great eye and imagination, as well as a deft hand.
I may not have it all together, but together we have it all.
