    Mineral Oil

Anyway to get mineral oil out of wood, I used it to turn punky wood to avoid tear out? Thanks for any thoughts.

I would try acetone. Mineral spirits may work, as well, but may take it deeper into the wood. It is going to be difficult to remove any oil that has soaked into the wood. Perhaps next time try mineral spirits for a cleaner cut.

If you are using a penetrating oil for a finish, probably not a problem as the solvents aren't bothered by it. If you are spraying a finish, or using water base, which sticks to the wood rather than penetrating, I don't know that is possible to remove all of the mineral oil.

John, do I just spray the mineral spirits or soak the wood? Thanks.

Soak it if you can IMO.
