I have experienced an attack as well it came after using a bookmark I always use to get here. In addition to opening the creek forum a second tab opened with an ad, I closed the tab before I registered the exact wording but it was an obvious baddy. I did not click on any adds or links the second tab opened under the forum tab I am using Chrome on an Android tablet using the latest version of Marshmallow.
I checked my history the tab was titled PopAds.net

Just happened again to me, twice, as I clicked on a sub forum (classifieds then tech suppprt).

Same thing on Android when I click the main engraving forum a spam window takes over the website and takes me to some random ad.

Aaron is still working on this one. As far as I know this seems to be a Windows issue, I have not been able to reproduce the problem with my Mac.

I have not experienced any "takeover" attempts. I'm a contributor so no advertising, I'm using Chrome with popups disabled and I have a bookmark that takes me to new postings -www.sawmillcreek.org/search.php?do=getnew&include=29,43,44,16,7,39,3,40 ,4,10,12,23.
Plus AVG anti-virus.

Happens on Andriod Galaxy Note 4 using chrome. Typically happens the first time I open a new window then click on the engraving forum each day. Not to scare anyone but this is typical malware behavior, probably attached itself to links on the site...or it could just be a malfunction on the site.

Everything updated.
