Thought I Would Introduce Myself -New Member

I am honored to announce my application for membership to the Sawmill Creek forum members list. I have been surfing the site for a few months and thought I would finally apply and occasionally add my input, comments or questions. I live in Central Virginia, near Richmond, and at one time was a novice woodworker. Unfortunately, family and career seems to consume most of my time. Although, late at night, after everyone is in bed and the days work is almost done, I will sneak over to the Creek and read a few postings. Now that I am a member, I may even ask a few questions myself. The resources that hang out here are unmatched. I know one Creek member personally and hope to have a chance to get to know more. Thanks and see you around the forum.

You gotta be a really fine feller with a first name like that.!!!

Welcome to SMC.!!!! Take your shoes off, wade on in, sit under the shade tree, share what you know, and learn all you can. It's all like family here and feel free to ask questions, even those that we often call "dumb questions". No question is dumb if you don't know the answer.!!!
    Thanks & Happy Wood Chips,

Welcome, Dennis. I have only been posting for a few months now after some time lurking in the shadows and no one has beat me over the head for saying anything stupid yet but I'm sure to get it before long. Welcome to the creek,
Just keep working on it. It'll give up and do right after a while.

Welcome to Saw Mill Creek Dennis.

Reading about woodworking is a good activity, and I hope that it is not to long before you are able to get back to doing rather than just reading.
