If packages are being stolen from your porch...

    ...then try the bait box.

    A very innovative idea.

Love the exploding box and the purse is a real tester of humanity akin to locks keeping honest people honest.

I read that during a garbage strike in NYC that one enterprising person got rid of his garbage by putting it in a box with wrapping paper and leaving it out. Some thief would always carry it off.

But then I'm sure the thief just tossed it aside.

We live 500' off the road in the woods, with only one way in, plus pit bull sleeps on porch. When we get a new UPS guy, they usually back in and toss package from truck, until dog gets to know them. After that, they have to evict dog from truck to leave. Same for postman.

    I love it.

They should fill the box with scorpions from Matt's yard:

Solve two problems at the same time.

There is no excuse for theft. I doubt this action will teach the thieves much at all.....

Small world Bruce! Well, if the box don't work you could always put a bait box out and wait with a baseball bat or an equally blunt and intimidating utensil. Then again, with the laws today YOU might go to jail for that.

No, but it might make them really angry.

Just leave the box on your neighbor's porch.

Heck, leave the box (still full of Matt's scorpions) on your BOSS'S porch! - Solve THREE problems at once.

Then you know where they'll be. I might sound mean, I'm sorry, I just watched UT loose to Texas and I'm aiming to kill someone right about now. I'm a UT fan.
