    Plastic containers for drawers

I'm building a good number of drawers and could use some plastic boxes -- without tops is fine -- to serve as drawer dividers/storage. Some drawers I'm building in dividers but some I'd prefer movable boxes. Any suppliers that are cheap? 2x2x2 would be perfect but different sizes would be useful.

If you have a "Container Store" near you, try them. They have lots of "drawer insert" type boxes for sale, and not too expensive.

I use both the Uline and Schaller. The Uline ones are way too deep for many items. Schaller is expensive on freight.

    I've bought these also:

    https://www.amazon.com/Org53-12-Orga...JB4D3XHS3Q799A

You have to pay attention to the pricing as they bounce around a bit.

Amazon has quite a few varieties in plastic and wood (about 89k) if you search under draw organizer

Or, use the bins from this organizer and keep the box for tool storage.

Wow. Tons of options. I'd never heard of Shaller. Also Bosch has a pretty interesting stack and go concept ... I don't need it but pretty clever. I could easily spend more than I want to

This is actually a pretty good idea for general storage...the plastic bins, whichever you choose...are usually reasonably priced, available in many sizes and formats and uber-easy to clean, including actually washing them if something yucky escapes into them. And it leaves more time for projects rather than building drawer boxes...

For anyone reading this later - I have used some http://www.viewtainer.com/ viewtainers with the bins on the roll around bin/rack from Sams club. I like the ability to color match the containers per thread sizes of the hardware.
Glad its my shop I am responsible for - I only have to make me happy.
