Hey Folks,
if any of you who favor Japanese planes have used a Grintec Honing Guide, I could use the ABCs of how to adjust one. Some of the settings are fairly obvious, but others not so much. I have 3 planes to sharpen, a 70mm, a brand new beautiful plane from Tsunesaburro, and my oldest is a 65mm that I have had for 12 years.
I just got the Grintec and the instructions are understandably in Kanji. Anyone with a translation that would be tremendous. or just a couple of pointers would be very helpful. Thanks folks.
