    cover table while curing?

I have a tabletop that I've finished with General Finishes PolyAcrylic. It requires 21 days to cure. Can I cover with something like cardboard for 1 day (Thanksgiving) as we'll have a houseful of guests?

By Thanksgiving it will be fine to use with a tablecloth.

I agree with John. While not fully cured....but will be usable with some protection by then.
    Thanks & Happy Wood Chips,

You may wish to keep the table top covered even after the finish has fully cured. GF's Polycrylic is not very durable. Anything with ammonia in it is deadly on it, as is a hot dish. Next time, you might want to consider using GF's EnduroVar. Very durable.
