    Invalid URL Redirect on Login

I've been experiencing an issue logging in to this site using the Chrome web browser. I navigate to the opening page and type my username and password in the boxes at the upper right and then press the Log In button. I'm taken to a page with the Invalid URL Redirect error message. If I re-enter my credentials then the login is accepted. Any way to figure out what's causing this?

I get that as well on one of my pc's using the Firefox browser....it doesn't seem to keep me logged in. When I get the message I just click on New Posts and everything works normally.

Your short cut to SMC probably has the wrong url. What you should see is "http://www.sawmillcreek.org/forum.php" If you are seeing something else, change your short cut to go to that address.

No, you get the error after signing in.

I got that as well when I got a new PC last week. You get the error, but you are logged in, and it works fine after that.
Since I always stay logged in, I haven't seen the error since.

Check your URL. Once you fix it the error goes away.

I've done battle with this issue as well. I finally cleared site cookies by logging off, then cleared my browser cache and cookies for good measure. After that, everything behaves as expected.

However, the default landing page (the page the server sends you to if you type http://www.sawmillcreek.org/) is /index.php. If you want the landing page to be forums.php you should change your server setup to make that the default landing page.

And right after typing that last message I tried it again and got the redirect error again. I noticed that the URL it's erroring on is "http://sawmillcreek.org/..." instead of "http://www.sawmillcreek.org" You might check you server config and make sure it's properly configed to redirect.
