    Hickory vase

    An end grain vase of Hickory (pith not included) about 9" tall. One worm hole (filled with coral) and finished with lacquer.

    Very nice looking turning, hickory end grain that must have been a hard hollowing. I did not know hickory had such a beautiful gain.

    Hickory is one of the top line woods now for cabinets and turnings. Not too bad if still green. Super shape and finish Dennis.
