    Drone Success

Well I took a few months away from woodworking to scratch build and fly my first drone. What a blast to fly. Currently, just LOS flight though. Next summer I am going to incorporate the FPV part. That will be fun as well. Next I will be building a competition drone.

BTW - That Rockler glue mat was the bomb for this project. LOL

Neat project, my son built a similar item last fall and I had him bring it for a visit to check my gutters out with on-board camera.
Pretty neat and it saved me from climbing all over the wet roof.

What did you flash the controller with?
Never, under any circumstances, consume a laxative and sleeping pill, on the same night

I've been flying R/C aircraft for decades, back when you actually had to build the whole thing from scratch, there were no kits. Haven't had a chance to fly in the last couple of years but now that I have a nice place to fly, I should get back into it.
