    Miter Saw Dust Collection

Looking for ideas for miter saw dust collection. Was planning on getting the Rousseau 5000 Hood but am wondering if there is a less space consuming way. the Rousseau would require me to move where I store my clamps. My clamps are on a lumber rack I have on the back wall of the shop and relocating the clamps would mean I do utilize that portion of the lumber rack at all.

    Pics and ideas welcome.

We've all seen the boxes and I've seen a couple rather elaborate designs that collect from under the table or through the fence. Too much work for me for dust collection!

I've been running this through my feeble brain quite awhile and I think I've reached a conclusion:

Just a box to catch the dust hooked to my shop vac.

Looks like that hood would foot the bill but I think just a simple box would work, too.

CMS station is probably the most difficult spot to collect dust. I have 2 ports. One is under/behind the saw and the other pulls from the blade shoot. I finish with my shop vac.
