I had a pleasant surprise of a Festool sander in the mail today. The ToolNut had predicted Feb. 17, 2017 as the delivery date. Good guess.

Mine is March something. Don't really care since I'm confident when it's my turn, I'll get it.
I also already have one so this one is pure indulgence. Two different grits, always at the ready.
The bigger problem will be what to do with the $50 certificate. Probably a jig saw. I still have the original Bosch barrel grip that must be over 30 years old at this point and is still hanging in there.

I think this guy figured out the secret code... kinda takes the heat off my paltry 4!
Of all the laws Brandolini's may be the most universally true.
Deep thought for the day:
Your bandsaw weighs more when you leave the spring compressed instead of relieving the tension.
That guy is the reason I still don't have my one.
They should have put a limit on how many you could order at the special price.
Does anyone know if the $50 certificate has an expiration date?
If so, what is it?

I just got mine last Friday (ordered in October). I see many are selling the systainers and sanders separately on the bay.
I was thinking of giving it to my son. He just bought a house and is getting married in May but he just was gifted a DeWalt. But, guess I have more than one sander - he should too???

Thanks, Todd. I am still waiting. I was told mid-March.

Mine arrived on 2-23, have only had time to plug in and test motor. At a quick glance--looks great, feels great. May get some shop time today (or MAKE some shop time today) to give it a test run.
