    Super Dust Deputy Reducer Help

Trying to work on my DC system and bought a 6"-5" reducer so I could mount my HF motor and impeller on the top. Find out the outlet on the top OD measures 6-1/8" instead of 6". Anybody else run into this and if so what did you do to solve it, or where did you get a reducer to fit?

    Thanks,
    Andy K.

On my Shopfox, the impeller inlet was just the right size to go inside the Deputy outlet. If that won't work try a Fernco coupling if you can't find a standard fit duct coupling

I replaced the side panel on my blower with an MDF disk and a second ring glued to it and sized to just slip over the raised collar on the SDD. Used weather-stripping to seal the joint. Doing that, you aren't forced to step down to 5" for the inlet on the blower.
