    Adding On To My Shop

I am hoping to start building cabinets soon and my shop just wasn't big enough. I started on an addition 3 months ago. My son helped dig the hole and some of the guys from one of the cabinet shops I haul for helped get the roof rafters up. Other than that, it's been a one man show.

Note - I put the pics in order, but some didn't stay in order.

Nothing bad about pretty much doubling your space! That's coming along nicely.

Looks good! In your first post, the 4th pic, what are the 3 formed pieces for that are inside your perimeter forms?

    Good question! I'm curious too.

Leftover concrete. There are dividers in those boxes to make crude concrete blocks.

Making some progress. Electrical is in, osb is on the walls, and I cleaned up the construction mess yesterday to be ready to open big doors today and paint.

Watching someone else use a power painter makes it look easy. Just imagine tying 20 lb weights to your wrists and then holding them out in front of you for a few hours. I'm exhausted.

It's a crappy paint job, but it's brighter now.

OSB's a pretty demanding product to finish and make look good... so certainly don't knock yourself out over it. Looks plenty nice for a workshop to my eye!

    Looking good David,

That is a lot of work, especially by your self. However, in the end it will pay off. Great job.
