I can't imagine a $350 block plane being sold out. What gives?

Just temporarily. You can pick one up later.
This is after Christmas and they probably make them in small batches.
If I am not mistaken, another company has assumed the production of Clifton planes and many models are sold out. I believe one of the British saw makers bought them. Why not just call TFWW and ask? They are very reliable folks.
Interesting looking plane. I like its looks.
It is a nice looking plane, but be aware that it is large, about the size of the Veritas/LV LA Block Plane or a Stanley #65.
Personally, that is too large for my comfort. I prefer one the size of a #60 1/2.

Many of us treasure the 60 1/2.
I lost, misplaced, or ?? my 60 1/2 from many years ago. I was happy when they were made available again, but alas.. my current Stanley 60 1/2 is not the same as the one I remember. My Shop Fox 60 1/2 is much too heavy to suit me as well.
The original one I had was an apron plane. Sigh. . . . .
