I might give that a try. It all works fine when I use two clamps per piece, but did not think about making the bottom rail for narrow doors. Right now the minimum width rail I can make is about 8", and it makes me nervous to watch that cutter so darn close to the jig. I have tried a few options to use a single clamp for a rail part, but the part rotates under a relatively light force with most options and I am not willing to try cutting them. I suppose I might have to use a low tech fixture for the small parts. Now I have added fixture/dust cover so I can make my door face frames.

    Thanks Mark.

Only other low tech option may be to spray adhesive some sandpaper on a clamping face that wont throw off your cut depths
