Wagner conversion gun and BM Advance

I have a Wagner Conversion spray gun with a 2.0 needle. I am attempting to spray Benjamin Moore Advance satin paint.
I have getting orange peel finish on my cabinet doors.
I have been setting 40 psi at the compressor and 15 to 20 at the gun.
I have tried thinning the paint and adding Floetrol in various amounts, and changing the flow and pressure settings on the gun.
No matter what I do I always am getting orange peel finish.
Has anyone used the gun with Advance and had success? If so can you advice me?

I have an AAA so I don't know on your gun but what temperature is the room and paint you are spraying in? Advance is a thick material and if it is cold it's going to be even thicker. Thanks.

How far from the workpiece is the gun tip? My gun tip really wants to be within 8 inches of the surface, otherwise I get orange peel.
