    Hi Marty,

    Yes it is a conversion gun; specifically the Qualspray AM-6008 SmartPak with 3M PPS cup on the bottom. It has a separate regulator to pressurize the cup. Normally I run it at 5 psi for everything, but you can go up to about 8 - 10 psi before the pressure relief valve on the cup trips. It sprays everything from water based dyes to BM Advance beautifully.
