Hinsdale MFG cast steel 10" Saw

I have one that I've that I have had for a while (years). It is 10"x2". It had an ugly closed handle.
It has two brass saw nuts. I made an open handle for it (similar to Lie Nielsen) out of sapele. I've sharpened
it and it has 15 tpi. The saw performs like my Lie Nielsen dove tail saw. I wouldn't say equal, but close.
It is now a handsome saw. It has some remnants of grunge on the saw plate that I could not clean.

I've had the saw for a number of years.

Do any of you have information about Hinsdale? I find only sketchy information on line.

    Thanks!

What is that old line, "no picture, didn't happen."

Can you post images for those of us who like to look at the pictures?

The Hinsdale trademark was one of several used by the C.E. Jennings Company for their secondary lines of tools.
All of the Jennings tools I've seen are high quality. I have a 12" Hinsdale back saw. I like it a lot because the handle is fairly small.
