    More what is it?

Here are a couple more things that came with my new to me lathe that I can't identify.

The first one looks like a short 2MT pen mandrel. The others I don't have a clue.

Steve, the four strips of steel are for putting under your leveling screws. It is important to get the lathe level.

Thanks Joe! Do you bolt your lathe to the floor or just have it rest on the strips of steel with the leveling screws.

Steve, I just leveled my lathe and did not bolt it down. I feel that if you have a large out of balance piece on the lathe and it is bolted down solidly, something else may give. The 850 lbs or so of the 2436 sits pretty solid on the floor.
    Joe
