    Workshop lighting score!

A local restaurant went out of business and had these lights for sale. I got them for $30 each. They use a standard bulb, and I will put LED bulbs in them at 100 watt equivalent. They use schedule 40 iron pipe for hangers, which I will shorten 1 foot for my ceiling height. Finally getting proper lighting with a somewhat nostalgic look.

Nice looking shop lights. They'd work well above the work bench. Put in some PAR38 LED floods & you'll have tons of light.

Yes, I am putting it over the bench, but using a standard LED that throws light out all around. The ceilings are 9.5' and I want the glass globes to light up the shelves up high. That's why I really like these- they will throw out light in all directions.

We are still trying to get the house next door for a dedicated shop, and it has 12' ceilings. These will be perfect for that. I'm getting shorter pipe for them for my current shop to hang them 7.5' above the floor.
