Genuine Black Marble Plaques waffle pattern

Hello. Does anyone know a way to get rid of or at least lessen the waffle pattern in the attached photo? I used my last 8x10 marble plaque and JDS Industries no longer carries them. I was hoping to fix this one, if possible. If not, I will have to make it on 7x9 and refund some money.

Does anyone know who distributes Genuine Black Marble wholesale?

This is my most popular product and I want to continue to sell them.

    TIA

Johnson Plastics has black granite and black marble in various sizes.
I don't know how their price compares to others...
My only other suggestion would be to contact local counter top and or shower surround and custom bath fabricators.

I purchased my last black granite from Home Depot, you might need to sort a bit to get the right patterns you like. Can be cut with any wet tile saw or perhaps even cut dry. Your waffle pattern is from the dithering type you have selected in Corel Draw.

I've used Home Depot granite also, not 100% black, but it should work. There is a supplier out there that deals only in pure black granite, but I can't find my link.
    I'll look some more.

This is the only place I buy my black marble and granite. Never gotten a bad piece. I also like their Laser Bricks and Agate slices. Both laser very nice.

    waffle pattern--

Here's part of a 2-color bitmap of a logo I Cermark onto stainless,
note for the most the 'mottle' is fairly consistent...

Wanting to see if I could get it all a bit darker, I adjusted the
image to darken it up a bit.
It got darker, but----- notice the waffle pattern!

That's all it took, just making it a bit darker. I reverted back and all's been well ever since.

So it may just be an adjustment to lighten up the darks a little bit.

OR, maybe darken them. I have no idea what would happen if i went even darker, I just know that a little darker made waffles
