site is slow: waiting for yui.yahooapis.com

Anyone else getting this waiting for yui.yahooapis.com message? Clicking on anything on this site results in a 5 minute wait for completion. This started about 10 days ago. I've using Chrome on OSX, but I've also tried firefox and safiri. This also happens on my chromebook using Chrome. I've also tried deleting browser cookies, cache and restarting but no luck.

Try making your shortcut to SMC as "http://www.sawmillcreek.org/forum.php"

Slow for me too. So slow as to be unusable at times. I get lots of timeouts with PING and TRACERT. Almost always hangs up at ...cox.net

This started for me about the same time as that apparent bogus redirect/hijack the other day.

I did not get the message you mentioned but when I tried to open the gen woodworking forum it just sat there. Something is definitely wrong

I only see this message in chrome because chrome has a status area at the bottom left hand corner. It displays all kinds of connecting, waiting, resolving type messages in this area.

Finally figured out the problem. Well at least the fix. I went into the chrome privacy settings and removed all the yahoo cookies. Not sure why this affected safari and firefox but its working.
